He Has Risen!

He has Risen, Indeed! Have you ever noticed before Easter and Christmas how hard the spiritual battle is? Grace exudes from these triumphs so there's a battle to retain the grace that flows from them. Evil thought it won by crucifying Jesus but little did evil realize the God of the Universe was full of love and humility. That this was not your average king. He was the King that loved deeply the same people who scourged Him, spit on Him, hated Him and crucified Him. While all that happened, He looked at them with love and begged His Father that He forgive them! The world saw this as Jesus was defeated and believed if He was really God's son, He would've been able to stop it. But God didn't want to save His son, His plan was to send His son to save us!

So as the stone was rolled away and Jesus leaves the tomb of death, we can too, accept His act of love for us and be resurrected and live in eternal life with Him! With our yes we can escape sin and death! With our yes we can live with God eternally! With our yes we can carry our cross with Jesus with joy and peace to know our suffering is not in vain, but can aid others to salvation!

As the sun of God's light and love shines on Easter morning let us not forget the extreme love God has for us. Let us not forget how truly blessed we are to have a God who adores us, He is so patient with us and so forgiving. Let us not forget that He Has Risen! He has Risen, Indeed!

"If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of what is above, not of what is on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory." Colossians 3:1-4

Praying
Words of
Everyday Grace

Words are powerful!  God literally used words to create the Universe by speaking creation into existence.  In Genesis 1:3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. What a beautiful act of love! God uses this communication through the Holy Spirit to "speak" sanctity into us! To transform us from sin to holiness.

Graces are the supernatural gifts God gives us to help us gain eternal salvation.

When we surrender ourselves to God we can be led by these truths and be transformed to  become more like Jesus!
