Cry out Abba, Father

Updated: Feb 22, 2021

Romans 5:3-4

"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;"

I cry out, "Abba, Father" when I can no longer feel your presence. Oh, how I feel lost when I don't feel your presence. I cry out "Abba, Father" and long to hear your whisper. I know this longing in me, came from you, the God of Love. I cry out, "Abba, Father" and believe that you are allowing this to happen, because you know my soul and what I need. I trust in this because I know you have never failed me and your promises are true. I cry out, "Abba, Father" and ask, "What are you refining in my soul?" I cry out, "Abba, Father" and graciously thank you. I'm comforted knowing, you, the Potter, are sculpting precious details of my soul to make me more like you. I cry out, "Abba, Father" and smile, as I realize your presence is here! Your presence is in my longing, in my trust and in my thankfulness. I know this virtue did not come from me, it came from You!

Abba, Father!

James1:12 "Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."

Praying
Words of
Everyday Grace

Words are powerful!  God literally used words to create the Universe by speaking creation into existence.  In Genesis 1:3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. What a beautiful act of love! God uses this communication through the Holy Spirit to "speak" sanctity into us! To transform us from sin to holiness.

Graces are the supernatural gifts God gives us to help us gain eternal salvation.

When we surrender ourselves to God we can be led by these truths and be transformed to  become more like Jesus!
