Becoming pure in Christ

Updated: Feb 22, 2021

Becoming pure in Christ means renouncing our sin, our attachments, and our worldliness. A lot of us our consecrating ourselves to our Blessed Mother when we approach the Solemnity of Mary the Mother of God we give ourselves in Union with Mary's Immaculate Heart so she will lead us to Jesus’s Sacred Heart. Lastly we are walking in advent on our way to Bethlehem so Jesus can be born in us.

As we surrender ourselves in these ways to be purified and be a tabernacle for our adorable Jesus Christ, within us we are literally breathing God every time we exhale. With each breath if He is truly in us we are leaving him everywhere we go physically and spiritually. As we do this with God’s amazing grace, we are putting drops of Heaven on Earth. Just like Jesus prophesized over 2000 yrs ago when he taught us the Lords Prayer.

“My kingdom come will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

So let us pray we can let go, hand over, and completely surrender ourselves this Advent. Let us pray Our tabernacle isn’t locked like some of the churches. Pray we keep it open so Jesus can enter and we can live and surrender to His Perfect Will.

Praying
Words of
Everyday Grace

Words are powerful!  God literally used words to create the Universe by speaking creation into existence.  In Genesis 1:3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. What a beautiful act of love! God uses this communication through the Holy Spirit to "speak" sanctity into us! To transform us from sin to holiness.

Graces are the supernatural gifts God gives us to help us gain eternal salvation.

When we surrender ourselves to God we can be led by these truths and be transformed to  become more like Jesus!
