We are a wounds

Updated: Mar 10, 2021

We are wounds embedded in Jesus's heart. A wound is broken flesh that may be torn open from injury or infected from an imbalance or intrusion. Wounds need healed. They need medicine. They need time to heal. If Jesus says we are wounds, sin has caused us to be sick

and we need His healing. Sin tears us open and allows ungodly things to enter in. Sin is a

disorder that causes us to be out of God’s natural order and balance. When we fall to sin we have allowed the devil to intrude in us.

Jesus is the medicine.

Hydration, rest and cleanliness are all needed to heal a wound. If we feed off His Living Word, eat of His Body in the Eucharist, we are feeding ourselves with His perfect divine

nutrition. If we are drinking His Blood from the Eucharistic Cup and renewing our Baptismal

Promises we are hydrating with God's divine hydration. If we are resting in Him and soaking up His love and listening to His whispers, we are resting in His divinity. If we are confessing our sins regularly, we are allowing Him to take the unclean areas out of our souls. Jesus is the Great Physician!

Jesus says he keeps us (His Wounds) deep in His heart. Not topically....deep! Deep down where it’s embedded into His deep love. Jesus is Love!!! Can you imagine the power of that Love that’s in the Heart of Our Lord and Savior!!??? Deeply embedded in the heart of the Creator of Love, who is Love, Himself???!!! Woah!!!

So notice where you are! You are a wound in the heart of Jesus Christ, the Savior

of the World!! Allow him to console you! Allow Him to Love you so deeply that you are made new! BE HEALED in the Heart of Jesus!!!

Praying
Words of
Everyday Grace

Words are powerful!  God literally used words to create the Universe by speaking creation into existence.  In Genesis 1:3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. What a beautiful act of love! God uses this communication through the Holy Spirit to "speak" sanctity into us! To transform us from sin to holiness.

Graces are the supernatural gifts God gives us to help us gain eternal salvation.

When we surrender ourselves to God we can be led by these truths and be transformed to  become more like Jesus!
